Example

Trim excess white space from a scanned page by dragging the crop box, then fine-tune the margins with numeric inputs.

Before you start

Distances use PDF points (pt). Cropping changes the visible page area; content outside it may still exist and is not securely deleted.

Limit: 50 MB per file, 5 MB for text files and 100 MB in total. Available device memory may impose smaller limits. Files are not uploaded to a conversion server.

Tool FAQ

Does cropping securely delete hidden PDF content?

No. Cropping changes the visible page bounds, but content outside them may remain in the file. Do not use cropping as redaction or secure removal of personal information.

Can I trim PDF margins directly on the preview?

Yes. Drag the crop edges or corners, or enter top, right, bottom and left crop distances. Check the output to make sure needed text remains visible.
